Our Glasgow office is divided into a number of specialist teams, all of which work together to deliver a seamless service to our clients:

Operations
Providing support to our client-facing teams – including Barclays Stockbrokers, Gerrard Investment Management and UK Private Bank, the Operations team looks after day-to-day activities including Client Services, Settlements, Dividends, Cash Processing and Corporate Actions. Our Change specialists perform a strategic role, ensuring that we are continuing to deliver a quality, cost-effective service.

UK Private Banking (UKPB)
Barclays Wealth in Scotland manages funds valued at nearly £3.4bn from offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh. The majority of our investments are for private individuals, but we also look after charities, trusts and money invested in pensions. Our remit extends from working with clients on investment strategy and managing their day-to-day investment decisions.

Barclays Wealth International
Our international team delivers offshore banking and financial services to high net worth clients around the world. We provide a range of products and services to meet the diverse and complex needs of our clients. These include savings and investment products, transacting, borrowing and comprehensive wealth structuring services.

Stockbrokers
Barclays Stockbrokers' core execution-only business enables clients to manage and trade their investments directly in the financial markets. We offer share dealing services to companies wishing to provide dealing facilities to their customers, shareholders and employees and have also introduced new products such as electronic structured notes and fixed income and emerging market funds.

Technology
We recognise that quality advice and services must be underpinned by the very latest technology. Every year we invest heavily in our information technology to ensure that it is second to none in the market place in terms of meeting the needs of the business. Our technology specialists are divided into three teams - Software Development, Release and Configuration Management.

Operational Support Functions (Infrastructure)
There are a number of operational teams supporting the Barclays Wealth operation from Glasgow, including Human Resources, Finance, Corporate Real Estate Services, Risk and Compliance.
