Barclays Wealth recognises that there are many transferable skills gained from various disciplines. Embark offers an opportunity for individuals to employ the breadth of their experience whilst carving out a new career in a different industry. The Private Banker Role
Barclays Wealth sees advisors as being ‘wealth coaches’, helping clients realise their financial ambitions whilst managing their risk at the same time. The success of an advisor is reliant upon client relationships. All of our advisors are commercially minded as well as diplomatic and empathetic; these traits are vital in dealing with demanding clients. It is essential that regular contact is maintained and that solutions provided are consistent with the current and future needs of the client.
Once you’ve completed our robust and rigorous development programme each individual can become an advisor with either UK or International coverage. The objectives of the role will be to acquire, develop, retain and service a portfolio of complex clients.
